Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular Therapy is a highly clinical form of massage therapy that assesses, treats, and helps prevent soft tissue injury and alleviates chronic pain. It is a specific technique that requires precise palpatory skills, and extensive anatomical knowledge, in order to handle the muscle "3-dimensionally." The client experiences positive psychological and physiological benefits.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a form of massage that emphasizes the realignment of the deeper layers of muscles. The strokes are slow and the pressure is concentrated on areas of tension and pain in order to reach the sub-layer of muscles and the fascia; which is the connective tissue that surrounds the muscles.  When adhesions are present deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down the adhesions to lessen the pain and help restore normal movement.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a slow flowing, relaxing form of massage. Long gentle strokes are used to release muscle tension and calm the nervous system. The effects are an enhanced state of relaxation.

"It has been historically documented that the overall, positive, long range affects of caring human touch cannot be underestimated, for ALL living beings.  The underlying connection we create, not only releases tension from the tissues but it lifts our hearts into a state of compassion, opens our minds to Universal gentleness and allows the light of the soul to come forth.  This Sacred connective reaction can occur for the recipient and the giver, simultaneously.  This is why I was called into massage therapy." --Sacred Movement Sacred Touch
